Rodale Fitness Park

September 21, 2013 - It was a typical criterium where "nobody wanted to work, then you see a bunch of rested guys on the last lap". Yada-yada-yada...

One of those last-lap-fresh-guys showed up early. With two laps to go, Dusty Stone blasted through the field, stretched it out over the hill and punched through the wind on the back stretch. He was able to stay near the front on the bell lap and came off a wheel to lead it out in the final meters. "When I hit clean air I thought I had a chance", recalls Stone.

Then Mark Branle blew by at the line and took the win. Dusty held on for second and hey, 50 bucks is 50 bucks.

Allez.
